It’s been awhile since I’ve last written a formal entry, not from a lack of trying but rather I’ve been going through it irl the past month or so. You might’ve seen my last status but if not (I still have to mess around with the RSS feed so it includes statuses) I recently fell at work and had to get stitches on my leg which really took the wind out of my sails! Objectively my injuries weren’t bad (thankfully!) but it was exhausting and low-key kind of traumatizing for me to have to go through all of that mess on top of the anxieties and stress I was alright experiencing related to my job and finances. I’m fine now, I’ve been back to work and had my stitches out for a bit now. While I was recovering though I was in full depression mode and basically only played picross and doomscrolled on my phone. Not very proud of myself for that but I’m back to normal™️ and I’m working on getting back to where I was regarding my digital habits. Mainly less screentime on my phone and back to doing more productive things again like reading and drawing in my free time.

I do need to reevaluate my current projects though. I’ve been considering remaking my website from the ground up but I need to think about what I want to host on it. I have been working on the Cirque Condensed privately and a whole Info page for Shimmera but I’m finding myself writing more about individual characters lately so I might go on a little side quest and make character profile pages. I’ve been considering making a wiki but I have complicated feelings about wiki software so I don’t know if I’ll actually commit to maintaining one.

Anyways. For the time being I’m going to finish getting this blog set up and link it on my main site now that I have the important stuff sorted out. I will push any updates I have for my site in its current version before I start working on the re-write. Oh and update my gallery too since I have a little bit of a backlog of art to post. My gallery is actually it’s own thing so it won’t be affected by my main site being re-written. In the meantime I plan on being more active here since I missed writing posts! So I hope to see y’all again soon!
